The Context

A Warsaw interior design studio doing exceptional creative work — on tools built for a different decade. Communication scattered across email threads. Asset production slow and manual. No coherent web presence. Client presentations assembled by hand from disconnected files.

What Was Built

Web Presence

A fast, minimal website built on the same philosophy as this portfolio — deliberate, human-scale, no CMS overhead or plugin rot. Static site generation for reliability. The brief called for a studio that wanted to be found by the right clients, not all clients. The design reflects that: considered typography, generous whitespace, work presented on its own terms.

Client Communications Pipeline

The previously scattered client communication structured into a coherent flow: templated briefing documents, a defined feedback cycle, a delivery format that makes the studio’s process legible to clients who have never worked with an interior designer before.

The hard work was mapping the existing informal process — identifying where things fell through the cracks — and designing a replacement that matched how the team actually worked, not how they theoretically should.

AI-Augmented Asset Production

Generative AI tools introduced into the concept design workflow: image generation and inpainting models for rapid visual iteration from client briefs, refined in Photoshop. The result is significantly shorter time from brief to first visual presentation.

That matters because the first presentation shapes the entire engagement. Getting to a strong concept faster — and being able to iterate on it in the room with the client — changes the dynamic of the whole project.

The Harder Problem

Creative professionals develop strong intuitions and workflows over years. New tools disrupt those workflows before they improve them. Adoption in creative teams is almost entirely a function of whether the introduction feels like augmentation or imposition.

What worked: starting with tasks that were genuinely painful under the existing process (repetitive mockup generation), demonstrating on their work rather than generic examples, and giving the team control over when and how to use the tools rather than mandating a new workflow.

Status

Ongoing. Web presence and communications pipeline are live. AI workflow in active use for concept generation. Next phase: a structured client asset archive — moving from a folder-of-files model to something queryable and searchable by project, material, and palette.
